- 26July, 11pm local time
- We start our journey to Tsar Park ( i think so that’s the name is). Anyway its a very long journey to the park. About one hour ride plus twice changing train lines towards the south-east of Moscow from the north-west of Moscow (from where i live). That’s by far the furthest any of us would go at the end of the metro line. It’s a very long ride-about one hour
- Finally we arrived at the park. It was rather hot there..but its a calm feeling to know that the wind are blowing breezily towards your face..it was a calm feeling..I bet if we are in Malaysia at noon we would rather sit at home or just running around the mall, but for Russian in this hot but comfortable weather to-walk-in they just had fun..relaxing by the fountain and taking pictures.
- The park is very beautiful…full of flowers..oh yeah forget to say that its really easy to get fresh flowers rather than back then in Malaysia…its fresh and beautiful
- So the weather was ok…A lot of people…It was the perfect noon!
- We walked…(I cant say much here) sorry for that..but after i’ve done my pics blog y’all can see my pics thousands of them…so just take your time and read the history behind the park
- The park Has one of the most beautiful fountain…as the tour guide said that…it dance at night..so we can say that its a ‘Dancing Fountain’ or at least thats way its written in Russian…
- Plus lots of newly-wed come there to take their wedding picture…thought i must say its a very huge park..even larger than Titiwangsa Park back in KL near the National Library…
- People go there not only to make love-i mean just being pure romantic plus some of them would play volleyball and chess..some of them would jog in a park…since it is summer here..so i did saw a few of them sun-bathing…
- Surprisingly even old ladies and mens are here enjoying fresh air…oh yeah ’bout the fountain..Vladimir Putin (Russia’s Ex-president who in now their PM) launched the fountain.
- All in all..It was an exhausting 3 hours running around the Park with the tour guide blabering all the way non-stop

- 19-20July, 10pm local time
- This i think is the best part of the tour so far…sight-seeing Moscow at night somethin which i don’t think so we will do it…
- We rode the bus at 10pm in front of our hostel..from there on we rode to Tverskaya ulitsa..seeing wonderful architecture…then to Lubyanka ulitsa…history part of the Moscow
- second last stop was the Red Square…i was amazed of the sight..
- It was really beautiful! (i’ll show u the pics when i get my pics blog ready)..take lots and lots of pics..(thanks to my friend Daus-who happened has a DSLR camera and not in the trip) i manage to take beautiful photograph…unluckily for you guys in the digital camera..it seems nothing when u capture the image…
- Red Square was very beautiful that night and i must every other night i believe…the GUM was superb being covered with neon light and plus the Red Square was red than ever (actually in Russian long time ago RED was beautiful, so as in misinterpretation so we got the name as it is today)..
- All in all it was worth it that night although we slept at 2am..it was tiring but very entertaining as we got to hear lots of histories about Moscow thanks to our guide. She leaved us with lots of information, talking from the moment we rode the bus till the last stop..Thanks alot for the friendliness and explanation…

- 4July, 2.30pm local time
- Right after our Russian class we went straight to Red Square by Metro..
- The moment that we’ve been waiting lots of pictures being taken..it was fun there…first we run around the Red square..with three beautiful women who helps us with our explanation and questions (In Russians ok!)
- Then next to the New Shoping Complex underneath the Open place (can’t remember-Sorry!) we ate..haih..its hard here to find halal food plus its even harder for you to find if you don’t know how to speack russian..we ate potatoes as that is i think one of the cheapest things to eat here…moreover it only cost us 75 rubles (divide 7 for RM)…don’t be shocked coz its the style of leaving here..foods are expensive, including the things here..for example…
- if u wanna buy a juice for exp…it’ll cost around 45-60 ruble…that’s consider cheap…oh yeah for all of gas drinks it’ll cost u another 35 rubles..and yeah mineral water are very expensive…because it cost the same as the gas drinks here….the best thing here is its a Heaven for the smokers..
- Because its very cheap for u to but a pack cigarette..exp the cheapest would coz u only 19 ruble for a pack of 20..and hell yeah for drinkers…coz that things are like mineral water here….so u can be absolutely sure that u will see lots of people drinking and bottles of beers(wiskies here only please!) and cigarettes lying around like packets of sugar or bottles of mineral water back in Malaysia..
- Next in the list for the Red Square…We went to the St. Bassil Cathedral and walk beside the most famous shpping cpmlex in Moscow GUM! plus..most expensive.there u can find most brand there except Gucci!..awww..
- At the Red Square..we took a lot of pictures…in front of the Tomb of The Great Leader Lenin..and the St. Bassil Cathedral itself…
- We walked around the big, huge, crowded, beautiful, unique square…The feeling was great as finally u had the feeling of going somewhere where u can only see in pictures but finally u are here in front of your own eye..and oh yeah..its not easy to get a visa to Russia…
- Important point to know that..they dont really like foreigners..but please take note that they dot like foreigners from CIS…that is the people form the contries of the old Soviet Union..like us in Malaysian..sometimes we despise people from Indon because they always make havoc back home..same goes here…and..PLEASE!PLEASE! learn Russian Language if u wanna pay a visit to Russia..it crucial for surviving!

- 1July, 10am local time
- We took a bus ride to the Malaysian Embassy which is situated at the south of Moscow City. Surprisingly we arrived at noon because of the massive traffic jam in city centre..to say the least though Moscow is full of traffic jam..so best tip to remember here…dont but a car unless you wanna show yourselves of because here…
- The transport system are one of the best in the world…we got tramvai (that’s a train which run on the steets of Moscow, next we got aftobus (that’s the bus), trailibus (that the electric bus on the streets of Moscow), the most important and most busiest mode of transportation is Metro…
- That will be the best way in and out of Moscow City Centre…plus the ride are cheap for example one ride to anywhere in the Moscow Metro will cost you 19 ruble thats around RM2.5 (0.50 US cents). the best part of Moscow Metro is you can travel anywhere with a one way ticket.its easy fast(it takes just 40 seconds at least to wait, the longest would be 120 seconds!) thats much better that KTM or LRT eyy?
- Back to our topic, we ate there…rice, salads and hear speeches by the Consulate and JPA advispr there…once again (this time its serious) our seniors did talk to us about things to do and not to do in Moscow plus tips of living in Moscow….
- It was fun there…we talked…we ate…alot! plus..that will be the place where we will celebrate our Raya Aildilfitri there..the first time away from family…
- Next will be Trips Around Moscow

- 31June2007, 10PM, Malaysian Time
- We start our journey from KLIA airport at 10pm. At the boarding gate after receiving our passport and ticket then we realise that that will be the last time in years(maybe!) that we will se our family again. The feeling was sad but exhilirating, all in all we are proud as so many of our friends surround us and cheer for the last time as we took our last walk.
- We board the flight as edxpected with little delay, security check was smooth but the best part of all are seeing my friends..some of them are laughing cheering some of them are crying-sad…
- It was a long journey to Moscow btu we had fun as we had in-flight-entertainment in MAS(Malaysian Airlines). Thanks to MARA and flight attentdant in MAS we are very happy indeed flying to Frankfurt(transit before to Moscow) in a 12 hours flight
- We arrived at Franfurt 7am local time(11 am Malaysian Time, 31June2008). all of us are exhauted from the long journey. As some of us are having first time experience flying internationally
- Upon arrival we took a rest for a minute or two before we start exploring Franfurt International Airport. Intertsthingly some of us did bought somethin during our 5 hours transit in Frankfurt…exp postcards and pins proving we have arrived in Frankfurt
- ALARM! Some of the guys name are not in the list for our flight including myself…(Wait..WHAT!) but be relax..its just they misprint it..thats all
- Flight to Moscow..we board Airofloat to Moscow…We actually encountered some problems..we should arrived at 8pm local time (12am Malaysian time, 1July2008) but unluckily the weather was fogging..so instead we are asked to fly to Nizhi Novgorod. All in all we arrived at 12am local time (4 am Malaysian time,1July2008). the weather was very cold indeed..12′C..
- Upon arrival one of our seniors Denis fetch us to our hostel. And we arrived at 2am local time. We ate Nasi Ayam..which they cooked for us!..
- Finaly we got to meet our seniors here..two batch to be exact around 40 plus of them but not all came to meet us because its late nite..Hearing to stories upon arrival, we encountered some important points..such as RUSSIAN LANGUANGE is VERY IMPORTANT.
- so that’s it for ous first day to Moscow and how we arrived…next will be our trip to Malaysian Embassy
